Swainson's Hawk atop a yucca
  |
The air was a tad brisk when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I hit the trail this morning, but there was hardly a breeze and the sun shone brightly.  It didn't take long to warm up.
The only critters we saw today were a guy running along the long dirt road and a lone Swainson's Hawk sitting atop the tall yucca on the ridge west of the Organ Mountains.
We drove to our local Circle K on the way home in order to fuel up the CR-V; that was our "ride" for this Sunday morning.
