Another Windy Day

1st 2:  artsy jackrabbit and normal jackrabbit
It was pretty warm when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I started off this morning (58F), destined to reach 83F by afternoon.  We managed to avoid the wind during our outing, but we're under a Fire Weather Watch until 9 tonight.

When we were headed down LDR-A on the first leg of our hike we spotted the Basset people at the junction of LDR and the Tellbrook Arroyo; they were just beginning their westward trek down the arroyo toward home.

We had a pleasant hike today; both Frio and Willow were very well behaved.

Loggerhead Shrike

Sphinx yucca

Desert Dandelion (Malacothrix glabrata)

The rest:  bees in Apache Plume flowers

I really like the close-up of the bee in the Apache Plume flower.
