Spring's Return

Crown Dancer yucca
Felt like a return to spring this morning; still in the low 40s, but sunny with no wind.

Dr. K, Willow and I did our regular hike, but bushwhacked out of the left branch arroyo for quite a bit before looping back to it.  Willow always likes to bushwhack as did her brother Frio whose absence we all keep lamenting.

We saw no nature enthusiasts of the human kind out there today, but we did spot a Desert Cardinal and a Cactus Wren whose photos are posted here.  Wish I could have gotten a better pic of the cardinal.
