1st 2: Jackrabbit eating prickly pear pads
|
We did our normal hike with no added distance this morning; both Dr. K and I had tasks to attend to.
When we were driving to the trailhead we saw the Basset people and their hounds heading east on Tellbrook Road, but we never saw them again once we got on the trail.
The weather was slightly chilly due to a persistent wind, which has been blowing for several days; Dr. K and I are sick of it.

Lovely images of the Ash-throated Flycatcher. My favorite is the first one you posted.
