Prepping for this morning's hike was slightly difficult regarding what to wear. Of course Becca never worries about this stuff. So I chose long pants, long-sleeve shirt, lightweight anorak. And that outfit was good for 50% of the trek. The other half of the time--when the sun came out and the wind died down--I was a bit warm. This wouldn't have been a problem if the first half of the hike was cool and the second half warmer. The chilly/warm conditions oscillated back and forth such that I could never peel off layers. Becca's system is best.

Becca's system might be best, but i'm not sure you're a fur type of a guy...
Packrat, would you like a fur coat for Christmas?
Hardee har har, Caroline.
I'll pass on the fur coat, Dr. K.
