Beep Beep

Overcast at the start
Because it was really cool this morning, Becca and I took advantage of the nice weather to do a really long hike.  We got quite a bit of rain overnight; Dr. K said it woke her up.  I heard nothing.  But on the way to Tortugas Mountain for our trek I saw lots of signs of heavy precipitation, including several large puddles alongside the road leading to University Drive, and then several large puddles near the Sunset Parking area at the mountain.  As you can see from the images the sun came out at the end of our hike.

You've either got a lot of rabbits this year or you're just photographing them more often, Packrat. We've got lots of rabbits here in the northern Piedmont this year.
