Chihuahuan Desert Greenery

Flycatcher
Here's looking at you kid
High dewpoint, sun and little wind made for a rough hike this morning.  Surprisingly, though, there were quite a few other enthusiasts on the mountain enjoying the great outdoors (what a strange expression).  Becca and I did a moderately-long trek before returning to the hacienda, where I immediately climbed our roof to trim the branches of a Mesquite Tree away from the house.  It ended up being quite a lot of work, and I'm sure to suffer the consequences later:  sore arms, sore chest, sore back.  Yipee!

The little puffs of clouds in your image captioned "Across the desert to the Organ Mountains" makes the image look almost pointillist and Impressionistic.
