Hurricane Alert

Watching two runners heading up the mountain road
Hurricane Blanca is pushing toward Baja California and, according to Doppler Dave Spielman--meteorologist at KVIA (ABC Channel 7) out of El Paso, Texas--it will deposit enough moisture in the desert Southwest to give us a good chance of rain and thunderstorms by late weekend/early next week.  Temperatures will drop from the mid- to high-90s to the low- to mid-80s.  We certainly will welcome any precipitation we can get as long as it's not destructive.
