Still Hazy

Full experiment
We're still getting haze from forest fires in the Pacific Northwest, Montana and Wyoming.  There are several fires in northern New Mexico, too.  The smoky haze gives an odd quality to the morning light.  Add to that psychological aberration a dash of higher humidity and it makes for a strangely hot morning.  I shortened the hike significantly to avoid getting heat stressed, though the Beckster and I still did a fairly long trek west of Tortugas Mountain.  Hardly any other people out there today.  Yippee!
