Barrel Otra Vez

Whitethorn Acacia
This morning we replicated our hike from yesterday:  down LDR-A, partway up LDR, an eastern jog into the desert where we found a shady spot in an accommodating arroyo for a brief stop to rest and drink water.  While Dr. K and the Heelers waited I did a brief exploration for subjects worthy of photographing.

Then it was back the way we'd come with a short tack east on the spur road once we'd reached the upper flats and then over to the waiting CR-V for a quick ride home.

Although we saw a man and woman hiking south along LDR as we were setting off, we didn't run into them nor anybody else while trekking in the desert.
