Plea For a Breeze

This and the next:  Dayflowers
72F at the beginning of our early morning trek today, and it felt progressively hotter as we made our way along LDR-A and LDR up to Second Arroyo where we stopped in for a shade break and a drink.

On our return we prayed to the god of air currents for some relief from the heat, but all we got was a brief intermittent breeze that dissipated almost immediately.  So naturally we were all anxious to climb back into our waiting CR-V to get the air conditioning on.

We saw no other outdoor enthusiasts until the very end of our trek right before heading home--a guy with a red shirt bushwhacking west through the desert just north of the major east/west arroyo.
