If It's Wednesday . . .

The high flat land
We did our normal hike this morning despite the hot conditions; we're headed for 103F today.  The humidity was much lower than it's been of late, but any real breeze to help ameliorate the heat was absent.  A mild stirring of air on our way back couldn't really rise to the level of "breeziness."

We saw no one during our outing, with the exception of a few Jackrabbits that caught the Heelers' attention several different times during our trek up LDR.

By the time we got back to the CR-V all were eager to jump inside for the air-conditioned ride home.
