Feels Like 19F

Obligatory first shot from LDR-A
When you check your weather app right before embarking on a morning trek and it tells you that the wind chill is 19 degrees Fahrenheit you dress appropriately.  Surprisingly, though, it didn't feel as cold as it did yesterday when we began our hike.  The wind was so much worse then.

We hiked up to First Arroyo, popped in for a short break, and then headed back to the waiting CR-V.  We did see at a distance a woman running with her dog, and we gave them a wide berth by bushwhacking into the desert to the east of LDR as they approached.  She waved to us as the two of them ran by.
