A Change of Weather

This and the next:  New Mexican sunrise
It was in the mid-40s when we started our hike this morning, but the conditions were a bit raw:  the sun was mostly shrouded by clouds and the wind was strong.  A cold front blew in overnight, changing the weather significantly.

It didn't feel too unpleasant out there, though, and we trekked up to First Arroyo, stopped in for some water and a few photos, and then headed back.

Just as we crested LDR before reaching the upper flatland a man came over the crest.  He was half of the husband and wife jogging team we often run into out there.  He said, "It's a bit windy out here this morning."  We agreed as we continued in opposite directions.
