This and the next 3:  early morning sky

The four of us hiked up to First Arroyo on a breezy, cold morning in the northern Chihuahuan Desert, popped inside for a drink of water and a photo break, and then trekked back to the waiting CR-V in the upper flatland.

We saw nobody else during our outing, just the way all of us like it.
