After Snowfall

First 3:  Willow and Frio
22F (felt like 18F) at the start of our hike this morning, but we were lucky in that there was little wind and the sun shone brightly.  The wind did pick up after a while, but it never got forceful.

We headed up to First Arroyo, had some water during a break, and then bushwhacked over to the narrow trail that runs along a ridge south of the arroyo because we saw a woman jogging with two dogs, and we weren't sure which direction she'd choose to go after reaching the southernmost dirt road to our north.

We never saw her and the canines again as we bushwhacked in a southerly direction, eventually hooking up with LDR and following it back into the upper flatland where the CR-V was parked.
