Back in the Saddle for Dr. K

Somewhere along LDR-A
Dr. K felt well enough to accompany Willow, Frio and me on our morning trek today.  We hiked up to First Arroyo, dropped in for a water and photo break, and then headed back.

We saw no other outdoor enthusiasts in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert, and it wasn't due to inclement weather; 32F at start with little to no wind.  The sun wasn't exactly beating down on us, but it shone brightly enough to keep things warm.

Made it back into the upper flatland with no problem, although the last steep ascent tired me out a bit.  Perhaps I didn't have a restful sleep last night.
