Breezy Enough

Long view of Tortugas and the Organ Mountains
A persistent light breeze made it feel chillier than it was this morning (37F) as the four of us hiked up to First Arroyo and back.

We saw nobody else in our section of northern Chihuahuan Desert, despite my hope of catching sight of another coyote.  No such luck.

Frio and Willow both spotted a couple of Black-tailed Jackrabbits, but they didn't pursue them.  I won't for a minute kid myself into believing this marks a changing point in the Heelers' behavior because I'm certain it doesn't.
