Clouds and Mountains

All pics unless otherwise captioned are clouds over Organs
We took a regular hike up to First Arroyo and back this morning and the vistas we experienced were incredible thanks to the thick layer of clouds pressing down on the Organ Mountains to the east.  As usual, I took far too many photos (88), and I paid the price later when editing them back home.

We saw nobody else in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert today except for one Coyote who ran across LDR-A ahead of us.  Only Frio and I saw him.  When he had almost disappeared into the creosote on the side of the trail I made a clicking noise and he stopped to look at me.  Then he was gone.  No chance for a photo.
