Cold and Cloudy with Wind

Sky at start
It was freezing (32F) when the four of us started off this morning; the sky was cloudy and there was little sunshine.  The sun did make a futile attempt to break through during our trek, and the clouds tried to clear, but, for the most part, conditions remained the same as at the start during our trek.

We hiked up to Second Arroyo, parked ourselves inside for a while, drank water, took photos, and then left for the return trip.  Dr. K walked Willow close at her side throughout, and Wils was pretty much on good behavior for the duration.

We saw no other hearty outdoors types during our exploration today.
