Curious Coyote 2

Starting down LDR-A
Not nearly as frigid (33F) when we started off this morning, but it felt like 26F with the wind.  Dr. K was cold nonetheless, but I felt significantly warmer than I had over the past two days.

Not long after crossing the Tellbrook Arroyo we spotted a curious Coyote on the trail ahead; unfortunately he was too distant for me to get any good photographs.  The ones I got were noticeably pixilated due to distance.  Mr. Coyote was quite interested in us as he stood and than sat for a spell while we approached.  Then he disappeared into the desert to the east of the road.

We hiked up past the spot where we saw him and onward to Second Arroyo.  After a brief respite inside we turned around and headed back.  When I examined the photos of Mr. Coyote after arriving home I noticed that he seemed to have something wrong with his right eye; it seemed partially closed.

Good photos of that curious coyote even if you couldn't get very close. I wonder if it was the same coyote we saw a few days ago?
