A Snow Day of Sorts

View from the living room window this morning
The weather was too bad to allow for our usual hike this morning; the arctic blast barreled through bringing rain and then snow.  The winds were quite high with strong gusts.

After the snow tapered off we decided to take Willow and Frio for a short trek up and down the arroyo that runs alongside our property.  They were able to do their business and follow the scent of what appeared to be Coyote tracks leading from our water hole into the arroyo.

We saw no one else braving the elements while we were out there.

This and the next:  Frio on the window seat cushion

The window seat cushion he & Willow have ruined I might add

Frio mesmerized by Willow's Incredible-Hulk eyes

Maybe an inch or more so far

Soaptree Yucca in snow

The rest:  snow on our property
