A Road Less Traveled

Torrey Yucca
Somebody was parked in the spot we usually use on our daily trek, so we had to find another place to leave the CR-V.  Because I'd seen the guy depart his older grey Toyota Tacoma with a dog I decided Willow, Frio and I would be best served by hiking the upper flatland road to Tellbrook Drive, cross the pavement and explore another area we'd only been in several times before.

We left the dirt road and dropped down into an arroyo that runs north/south and followed it for a bit.  Then we climbed out and headed west on a dirt road before turning around and heading back to the CR-V.

The guy in the grey Tacoma was just leaving as we started back so there was no chance we'd bump into him and his hounds.
