Heelers heading down LDR-A |
The Heelers were obviously enthusiastic about our new explorations, and they eagerly pulled me this way and that as we climbed and later descended the steep arroyo.
We saw no other critters out there; nor did we see humans or dogs. Is was a peaceful, relaxing hike in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert.

I love that first photo of the Heelers heading down the trail at the start of your hike. Beautiful early-morning light.
