A+ is for Excellent

Stretch of Chihuahuan Desert
Perhaps because of the long talk I had with Willow yesterday she was on her best behavior this morning.  The number of times she pulled on her lead was minimal, and she listened and responded positively to everything I asked of her.  Frio was good, too, and that made our daily trek that much more pleasurable.

The wind that made things a bit chilly when we started off diminished significantly by the time we started up Left Branch Arroyo, and pretty much dissipated by the time we trekked up Right Branch Arroyo and exited using the steep hill beside the upper flatland road.

We're supposed to reach 65F today--not bad for a day in early February.

I like the photos of the Desert Willow shadows and the first photo of the thorns.

Glad Willow was better behaved. She's a good girl at heart.
