Awfully Oppressive

Morning supermoon
It was pretty brutal out there this morning:  blazing sun, high humidity and nary a breeze.

Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I did our regular hike, and we took a bit more than our usual number of shade breaks.  We stopped often, too, while I took numerous photos.  Couldn't get a decent image of the Swainson's Hawk, however.

Although we all enjoyed our outing we were anxious to get back to the air-conditioned comfort of the CR-V and the cool ride back home.

There seemed to be more bird sightings than usual this morning. I especially like your photo of the Kingbird.
