Overnight Rain

Clouds over the Organ Mountains early this morning
We didn't hear the rain overnight, but the backyard was wet when we got up this morning; also, the humidity was sky high.

So it was for the hike today, Willow, Frio and I trekking without Dr. K who went shopping.  It was a good outing to miss, not only because of the weather conditions.  Frio and Willow were like the Katzenjammer Kids, pulling every which way, chasing lizards, alerting at every perceived sound or movement.

It was a pleasure to have the hike over today.

Such cute photos of the mom and pop quail. My favorite is the last one.
