Sprinkles for Three

1st 3:  drizzly conditions in the desert this morning
Dr. K went shopping this morning so she didn't get to be sprinkled on during the daily outing.

Before Frio, Willow and I left for the trailhead radar indicated no rain for he hike; as is often the case, though, that proved to be untrue.  On the drive there the rain started, and it kept sprinkling while we began our descent of LDR-A.  It wasn't until we were a good way down the adjacent arroyo that it let up, finally stopping before we reached the east/west cross trail.

We got spat upon a few times more during the trek, but nothing of significance.  The day did feel cold, though, and while we were ascending the left branch I had to don my gloves, which I kept on until we were nearly ready to exit the right branch.

That treat you just gave us was delish

And now I'm bored

I really like the photos of the Yuccas. What a gloomy day in the desert.
