Did our regular hike this morning in hot, breeze-less conditions. The good thing about today's outing was the absence of ANTagonists; we were able to take several shade/water breaks without worrying about Heelers being bitten.
When we got home we took our time going through the usual routine: giving dogs treats, doing a few chores, taking showers. We were expecting the delivery of our new refrigerator from Lowe's between noon and four o'clock. Unfortunately when I stepped out of the shower at 10:20 I heard the beep-beep-beep of a vehicle backing up. It was the huge Lowe's delivery truck with our fridge.
Dr. K and I had to scramble to get everything out of the old fridge--which we had planned to do in a leisurely fashion--while the delivery men were bringing the new one in. Fortunately everything worked out OK.
