Thirsty Thursday

Yellowing mesquite leaves
It felt mighty hot when Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I were out in the desert this morning; an occasional light breeze sometimes made it a little more bearable.

We did our usual route, stopping several times for shade and water.  Both Willow and Frio took turns getting drinks.

We didn't see many critters during our outing.  That's because they have the good sense to stay out of the sun.
