Saturday Shuffle

View from LDR-A arroyo
It was chilly when we started off this morning, but Dr. K and I were dressed appropriately; Willow, too.

While we descended LDR-A arroyo we saw the black side-by-side heading up LDR; the driver's dogs were barking.  Shortly thereafter we spotted one of the Basset people hiking with the canines.  Turns out there was only one Basset person, and we don't know how many dogs.

We followed the regular route, and when we were climbing the steep hill west of the right branch arroyo we spooked Freddie the Black-tailed Jackrabbit who was back in his Soaptree Yucca den for the first time in weeks.  He didn't seem too happy to see us.

After the trek we drove over to our small post office to mail a bill.
