Rain Promise Fulfilled

We got a goodly amount of rain last night, and we have the promise of more today, tonight and tomorrow.  The air is laden with heavy humidity.  God knows we need the precip.  Often, after a heavy rain in the desert, Tarantulas will be out and about.  I'm not sure if it's because their subterranean dens have been inundated with rain, but that's as good a guess as any other.  It's also possible that the rain brings out the kinds of insects the Tarantula likes to munch on.

Tortugas and the Organs We got a fairly early start this morning so it wasn't hot at all:  62F.  The cloud cover helped the temperature ...
