The Story of the White Cross

I had often wondered about this story whenever I visited the white cross in the desert southeast of Tortugas Mountain.  This morning when Dr. K, Becca and I visited the cross we found a canister with the story inside.  Both Dr. K and I were moved by the family's account of their lost loved one, and I wanted to share it with others who may read this blog.

(There are two posts today, this and the following one.)
