A Good Hike

Heavy overcast to start
We had perfect ingredients for a good hike this morning:  variable overcast, strong breeze, tolerable sun, and few people in the outback.  There were quite a number of outdoor enthusiasts closer to the mountain, though, and we ran into two joggers--men who were wearing the same kind of black t-shirt (the guys were firemen, I think)--and the first commented on how well trained Becca was because she lay in the "down" position when he passed.  She is well trained, but it's taken years of training to get there, and even now she sometimes displays a stubborn streak.
