A Pleasing Trek

Along the Crosscut Trail
Becca and I got a really early start this morning.  I wore a jacket for the first 1 1/2 miles or so.  Then the sun began to warm the desert, and it definitely felt like short-sleeve shirt weather.  We added an extra half-mile to our hike simply to prolong our time in the outdoors.  We ran into only one other person, a jogger heading around the mountain.  Becca obediently stayed in the "down" position at the side of the trail while the man passed us by.  He was moving so slowly I think I could have overtaken him with a mild speed-walking effort.
