Between Storms

Lineman school is in session again
It rained much of the day yesterday and kept up into the night.  It was sprinkling when I took Becca out to do her business in the backyard this morning, but it soon let up.  We were fortunate, again, to get in a long hike without getting wet, but it started raining lightly on our ride home.  We badly need the rain, so it's a welcome relief to get some; but when you're used to sunny skies and warm days the rain and overcast can get you down a bit.

I still can't believe how beautiful those yucca blossoms are.

Dr. K's right: the yucca blossoms are really nice. Did you get a muddy belly photographing the mustards? If so, it was worth it!

Most of our residual snow is gone--except for the occasional plow glaciers in the parking lots. Tomorrow, we're supposed to get up to "a few" inches of wet snow and/or rain. Oh, goody. It'll be gone by the end of the weekend, but it's still a nuisance.
