Long Ride Home

Becca and Dr. K (with her new wool cap)
Dr. K, Becca and I said goodbye to the Sonoran Desert for a while as we left for the Chihuahuan Desert and home early this morning after a short trek.  We said goodbye to my family, too.  We spent an excellent four days with them over the Christmas holiday.  The return trip took a mere 6 hours and 20 minutes including a brief stop for a picnic at San Lucas Community Park in Marana, Arizona.  The weather cooperated for our journey and, once we got into New Mexico, the traffic did, too.
