Abbreviation

Yucca stalk cross at the center of a bush called Crucifixion Thorn
Even though Becca and I got an early start this morning it already felt rather hot out there; then neither one of us really seemed in the mood for our daily trek.  I abbreviated the hike because of that, but not radically.  We still got in some decent exercise.

Even though there were a lot of vehicles in the Sunset Area parking lot, we only saw a few hikers west of the mountain; and we had a direct encounter with only one, a guy named Bob, who is a hardcore critic of Donald Trump.  Nice to know that there are still people in this world who possess common sense.
