Back to the Griddle

Whitethorn Acacia is a legume
We're headed for 101F today, and it felt like it out on the trail this morning; the sun beat down through a mostly cloudless sky, and the humidity was high.  Nary a breeze to be had.

In the distance on LDR, both coming and going, we spotted fellow hikers, but we encountered no one.  One of the trekkers must have had a dog companion, though, because Willow locked onto a scent she just wouldn't relinquish for much of the way.

By hiking all the way up to Second Arroyo and back we got in the requisite amount of exercise to burn a sufficient number of calories.
