On Tuesday

Soaptree Yucca, Mormon Tea, Ocotillos
Early start this morning, but not as early as yesterday.  The four of us hiked up to Second Arroyo, ducked inside for a quick shade and water break, and then headed back.

We saw nobody in our section of the northern Chihuahuan Desert today, and that was just as we like it.

47F at the start of our trek, but it warmed up fairly rapidly while we were out there.  We're slated to reach a high of 88F this afternoon, but a cold front is supposed to blow through within a few days.
