A Return to Spring

This and the next:  something's burning
Nice long hike up to Second Arroyo and back on a morning more typical of April in the northern Chihuahuan Desert:  46F, no wind and lots of sunshine.

The Heelers were a bit more "pully" than yesterday, and I gave them a grade of B- then.  We saw several cottontails and two jackrabbits that gave them cause to lurch ahead, but I had no trouble holding them back.

But both were extra good when we got back home, letting me clip and file their nails without complaint.
