Red Flag Otra Vez

Interesting sky this morning
Did an extra early hike this morning because Dr. K and I had to take Willow and Frio to the vet to get their rattlesnake vaccination booster shots.  They're good until late October now.

The trek today was made notable by the beautiful skies all around us.  It always amazes me how different the weather can appear based on which direction I'm pointing my camera; this morning was no exception.

Although we heard dogs barking from a distant neighborhood we didn't see any canines, but we had a few close encounters of the 3rd kind with jackrabbits, especially a couple of Black-tails in First Arroyo.  The dogs made their leads sufficiently taut in anticipation of chasing the hares, but really never pulled excessively.
