Broiled Hikers

Starting down LDR-A
At about 7:45 a.m. Willow, Frio and I headed out for our morning hike in the usual area.  We had to drive through road construction on the way up Tellbrook.

We didn't see any other outdoor enthusiasts while we were there, but we did spot a few Desert Spiny Lizards and several Western Kingbirds.

The trip home involved driving along the one lane open to motorists through the construction.  We were glad to be inside the CR-V with the air conditioning cranked up because it was both hot and humid in the Chihuahuan Desert this morning.
