Another Grand View

White Sands National Park
Dr. K, Willow, Frio and I hiked the Grand View Trail again this morning; it's the most level trail in this area, and the one that best suits Dr. K's bum knee.  She did fine today, but did experience a little discomfort by the time we finished the trek.

We saw nobody else out there while we enjoyed nature's beauty.  Aside from having my arms ripped from the shoulder sockets on the outbound leg (the Heelers were extra exuberant), the exercise was beneficial.

When we returned to the cabin I had to begin the second day of yard work, cutting grass and weeds around the house; it took me about the same amount of time as yesterday's effort, and I was happy that I'd decided to do the chores over a two-day period.
