Beaten Path Detour

This & the next:  Sacred Datura
Very hot and humid again on our morning trek in the northern Chihuahuan Desert today.  When we reached the Tellbrook Arroyo I decided to head east for a bit before exploring some arroyos we explored in the recent past.  It was worth the detour.

The desert is still incredibly beautiful from last week's rain; Chinchweed carpets the ground in every direction, and if you walk through it the aroma is akin to lemon zest.

Both Willow and Frio were very well behaved during our exploration, which I appreciated very much.
