Bugged Yet Again

Upper flatland road
Hot and humid again this morning, but Willow, Frio and I trekked up to Second Arroyo, marveling all the way at how yellow the desert is due to an overabundance of Chinchweed flowers; well, I marveled at the sight, the Heelers just sniffed around.

During a somewhat extended respite in the arroyo, during which the dogs lay in shade, we drank water and enjoyed the rest; and then we exited said arroyo and headed back along LDR to the upper flatland.

The only critters we saw on our outing were birds, though before we departed from home today there was a javelina wandering around our property, to whom Willow gave loud notice:  "Get out of our yard!"

So much color in the desert! I love the pale blue color of the photo of the Dayflower.
