A New Warming Trend

Frio and Willow heading down LDR-A
We did the exact same hike as yesterday this morning; fortunately it wasn't as cold, though the Heelers never complain about weather conditions.  They were both very patient with me as I made numerous stops to take photos; in fact I'd grade their overall performance today as A+.

Although there weren't many clouds in the sky while we were out there the ones present were pretty wild.  A large one nearly overhead looked as if it might have been a contrail partially shredded by high winds aloft.

The trek this morning was very pleasant, and it was evident that both Willow and Frio enjoyed being out in the desert.  By the way we're headed for a high of 70F today.  70F in late December!
