Soaptree Yucca and the Organs |
The constant breeze kept conditions cold well into the duration of our exploration, and I didn't remove my gloves until we'd gone nearly seven-eighths of the way. Neither Frio nor Willow seemed bothered by the chill, although they lay in the sun warming themselves when we stopped near the ancient mesquite in Right Branch Arroyo. That's a favorite resting spot for us on this particular instantiation of our daily perambulation.
