Between the Drops

First 5:  views from LDR-A
It looked iffy for a hike this morning:  heavy clouds and light rain.  When it let up about 7:45 a.m. I decided to take the Heelers to our regular stomping grounds to see if we could do a short trek.  On the drive over it began to sprinkle, and it continued to sprinkle while we headed down LDR-A.

By the time we headed toward the Organs on the east/west cross trail the rain stopped, and I figured we could do our normal route if we did it fast; which is exactly what we did.

We managed to do the full hike with only a sprinkle or two descending upon us--mere spits from the sky.  Don't know if we'll get more precip today, but we hope so.  El Paso has been blasted the past few days.

Lovely photos of the clouds and mountains. My favorite image is the last one.
