Ready for Rain

Clouds to the northeast
It felt much cooler during our morning hike today; there were clouds, a strong breeze and very high humidity.  Weather forecasts call for significant rain beginning early this afternoon.  We sure need the precipitation.

Even though Mr. White Hat and his dog were out there ahead of us, we never saw them.  We saw plenty of ants, though, red and black varieties; past and future rain has stirred them up.

We pretty much enjoyed our outing; dogs were well behaved, and a good time was had by all.
